Brisbane is the capital city of Queensland and is the third most populous city in Australia. The Brisbane River is one of the main attractions in Brisbane, which is 344 km in length and is home to the extremely rare Queensland lungfish.
There is a wide range of activities to be done in Brisbane. Cruises and kayaking on the Brisbane River, rock climbing and abseiling from the cliffs in Kangaroo Point and swimming at the artificial beach. There are several theme parks to see, including the Alma Park Zoo, Kingston Park Railway, and there is a Queensland Museum and Science centre.
