Great Barrier Reef

The Great Barrier Reef is a World Heritage listed site and is the largest coral reef system in the world. There are over 2,900 different reefs and 900 islands spread out over 2,600 kilometers. The Great Barrier Reef holds a diverse quantity of wildlife. There are over 1,500 species of fish, 17 species of sea snake, 6 species of sea turtles, 215 species of birds, a mass population of dugongs and 30 species of whales, dolphins and porpoises.

As well as enjoying the beauty of the Reef, you can enjoy the multitude of activities the Reef has to offer. In and on the waters, there are cruises, trips, scuba diving and snorkeling. Bush treks, tours, tourism attractions and white water rafting are available on the land.
